I AM SMARTER THAN THE FORTUNE 500
Attention Major CEOs and Your People:
I am smarter than you, and I have a better business sense than you. You people have apparently taken yourselves and MISPLACED YOUR BRAINS.
First off, MSNBC is reporting that OFFSHORING IS STUPID. Do you want to know why they are reporting that? Because - and get this - people in other countries are doing things wrong. Apparently “wages and real-estate prices are soaring to record levels” and “they’re finding overseas workers are often ill-equipped to deliver consistent, quality work.” There’s nothing wrong with people in other countries - but there’s something wrong with the way it’s working.
Also, in other news the MUSIC COMPANIES are continuing to be DUMBER THAN A DEAD SCHNAUZER. “The Wall Street Journal reports that the major five labels think that 99 cents per song is too cheap, and are discussing a price hike that would increase the tariff to $1.25 up to $2.99 per song.” Oh, well, good. Let’s MAKE MORE PIRATES because the fucking multi-millionaire record executives have decided that the way to make money is to CHARGE HUGE FEES. Those prices, by the way, would make it more expensive to download than it would be to buy CDs. And don’t for a moment think that CD prices will come down. It would head right back to the heady days of the $18.99 CD with eight songs, all of which suck.
I’ll tell you how to fix your industry, RIAA. Stop suing the people who buy your products, don’t release shit-ass songs from craptastic artists, and let people pay 25 cents for a download with no digital rights management (or even a flat rate price). Then…get this…fight to get radio ownership rules tightened, and have more varied music play on the radio, and have artists tour more like they did back the day.
Of course, you’re not going to listen, because you, RIAA, and you, offshoring companies, are PUNK ASS LITTLE BITCHES.
Oh, and don’t forget to give strangers high fives this Thursday. It’s National High Five Day!
